I’M GOING TO BUY SOME MILK (2021)

What can happen when going to buy some milk in Šeškinė, Vilnius? Contemporary dance artists Greta Grinevičiūtė and Agnietė Lisičkinaitė together with the creative team decided to have a look at what might seem an ordinary city district during an ordinary day and find something that creates a fairytale in our everyday life. Or perhaps to ask how do we create fairytales for the everyday life?

The guided dance tour “I’m Going to Buy Some Milk” was first presented in 2021 in the Šeškinė district, Vilnius. In 2022 artists Greta Grinevičiūtė and Agnietė Lisičkinaitė, together with their creative team, in Eiguliai, Kaunas, decided not only to adapt the original version of the work but to apply it as much as possible to the history, architecture, and inhabitants of the Eiguliai district.
